Shopping.net – Buying with Us

Shopping.net offers a wide range of products in our core Baby Care, Toys & Games, Fashion, Watches, Computing and Sports and Leisure categories. Product lines are updated on a daily basis with the best prices online.

All prices shown on the site includes VAT & Postage and Packaging.
Items that are in stock are usually dispatched within 24 hours by First Class mail or Parcel Force courier and delivery usually then takes 3–5 working days.

To improve Customer Security and Confidence, we use Google’s Checkout Environment to take your payment, which is one of the safest ways to complete transactions on the net!
We will also soon be adding a Paypal option to enhance the secure payment system offering!

How do I Order?

There are 3 main steps to buying a product:

  1. Find what you want to buy
  2. Add it to Your Shopping Basket
  3. Complete the Order Form

1) Find What You Want to Buy

The simplest and most efficient way to find what you're looking for is to search for it. You’ll find the ‘I’m Shopping For’ search box on the left hand side at the top of every page.

Simply type in the name of the product you are looking for into the box and click ‘Search’.

Try searching by:

  • Brand (e.g. Casio)
  • Product Name (e.g. Waveceptor)
  • Product Description (e.g. Green Casio Watch)
  • Product Code (e.g. Casio Waveceptor WVQ-550DE-1AVER)

If you don’t find what you want straight away, here are a few tips:

  • Keep it simple!
  • Best results are often obtained if you enter just one or two key words – if you know the exact product code even better!
  • Don’t worry about punctuation
  • Browse the site -the main areas of the site are shown at the top of every page in the purple tabs. Simply click the tabs to move between different product areas.

Alternatively:

  • Use the category tree down the left hand side to search by Category, Brand and Price.
  • Sort the products by Best Selling, Cheapest, Most Expensive or New Products using the Sort by dropdown above the product list.

Click on the “More Info” link in the Product box beneath the Price to read more information about the Product. If you find the price cheaper elsewhere, you can simply let us know by clicking a link on the subsequent page. You will find an “Add to Basket” link there too!

2) Add it to Your Shopping Basket

The Shopping Basket is the place where you store the items you intend to buy. You can also delete items from the Shopping Basket, or even change the quantity. When you find what you want, click the "Add to Cart" button on the item's product information page.

If you can't see an "Add to Cart" button, it's because the item is currently Out of Stock. Products are normally back in stock within 3 days subject to manufacturer availability.

When you've added everything you want to the Shopping Basket, click "View Basket" in the top right-hand corner of the page or the Shopping Basket link on the left.

To complete the transaction, click on the Google Checkout link to pass through to the Secure Checkout System.

3) Complete the Order Form

Once you’ve clicked the Google Checkout Link, you will pass to the Google Checkout Secure Environment. For more information about Google Checkout and why we use it, please click here.

On the next page, you will see a summary of the products you wish to buy. If you already have a Google Account, sign in on the right hand side.

Otherwise, sign up in 2 minutes using the form to the left!

Once signed in, you will be presented with the transaction page. Here, you will see the Product Details, Quantities, and Price (which includes VAT and Delivery).

You can opt to keep your email address confidential here.

Your credit card details are displayed securely here – you can also change to another card to use if you want to from this page.

In addition, your delivery address details are also displayed securely here – you can also change to another delivery address from this page.

Then simply click on the “Place your Order Now” button!

That’s your transaction complete, your payment card will shortly be charged and you will receive a confirmation email from Google on our behalf!

How do I Cancel an Order?

If you wish to cancel an order, you may only do this within 15 minutes of placing the order through the Google Checkout.

If you wish to cancel more than 15 minutes later, you may do so if the product has not already been dispatched. Goods are normally dispatched between 24-48 hours subject to availability.

Simply click on the “Contact the Seller” link in your Google Account, or email us at orders@valueclick.com

We will then cancel the order subject to the transaction not being completed.

Once the transaction has been made and the goods have been dispatched, we are unfortunately unable to cancel the order.

How Do I Track My Order?

Every package we send is either dispatched by Royal Mail First Class recorded post or Parcel Force Courier and will have a tracking number associated to it.

When your goods are dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation which will also detail the Tracking Number. You may also find this within your Google Account Purchase History.

How long does it take for my goods to arrive?

Goods are normally dispatched within 24-48 hours subject to manufacturer availability and will be delivered within 3-5 working days.

What are the Warranty and Returns Policies?

All our products carry a 12 month warranty.

Goods which fail some point during the 12 month warranty should be sent back to us at the address below and the will be replaced subject to product availability. The delivery costs will be covered by Shopping.net and fully refunded.

Please note, that if a returned product is not found to be faulty, damaged or defective, the product will be returned to you at your expense.

I’ve changed my mind – can I send back Unwanted Items?

At Shopping.net, we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items for a number of reasons.

We offer our consumers a 7-day money back guarantee on all unwanted goods purchased from Shopping.net from the date the item is delivered.

Please ensure you do not open up any of the packaging or sealants, and ensure the product is returned to us in the same condition as you received it.

In addition, for unwanted goods, please include a note in the package with reasoning as to why you don’t want the item anymore, even if it’s a simple “I changed my mind!” Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send it to us within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you.

Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage charge--we cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge.
